Neb vs NW
I had a thought while watching a bit of the Neb vs NW game. You know how these conference rivals play for some trophy or a jug or ax or something meaningful. I was thinking that since both of these teams have an N on their helmet (or at least a flipped over Z in the case of NW) that they should play for the right to have the N on the helmet the next year. That would really raise the stakes for that game and make them bring their best effort.

It would probably mess up their licensing agreements, but that would be interesting. Ohio State and Rutgers could player for the right to wear scarlet.

I like the idea of this happening for a big rivalry game each year....but it needs to be student initiated IMO.
When the students come up with it, the tradition will stick a lot longer.
I wish Ga and FL would do something similar to the little brown jug.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
