UL - BC

Postby Swamp Daddy » Sat Nov 08, 2014 11:10 pm

Louisville is ahead and trading TDs with Boston College in the 2nd half. It was a wacky and weird first quarter with UL within the 5 yard line 3 times and only getting a field goal. BC had an extra point hit the goal post which accounts for the odd score. UL blocked a punt by overwealming at 3-man wall in the waning minutes of the half to go up by 4 points, 17-13.

UL opened the 2nd half with a TD and so it goes.

That Boston QB LOVE to throw interceptions.

Louisville has capitalized on them well.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

After a wacky goal-line stand and exchange of the ball, UL drives to score and put it awa 38-19. Good road win. Defense good as usual; and, for a change, the offense was good and STEADY.

Geron Holliman will probably set an NCAA record for interceptions with 2 or 3 tonight (can't recall whether got a 3rd or not). Yep, just heard it was 3 and almost a 4th one. Wow. for BC.

I thought this was a close game...until it wasn't.

Sadly, I did not get to see any of this one ...

I usually like to catch at least a glimpse of each ACC game, but this one escaped my view ... heck, I didn't even see any highlights from this game, for that matter.

I suppose I'll just take what I can gleam from all of you fine folks, to help me fill in the blanks.
