FSU did its patented thing....play the second half to win after being down by as much as 16 in the first half.
Looking truly awful the first half, the kids go in at half time and put on their capes.
The Nole defense allowed the Canes a total of 3 points in the second half while outscoring the Canes 20-3. Thrilling finish as has become the custom.
Not pretty...but this is a team that will not give up...that will focus and make adjustments at the half...and that will play to the whistle knowing that they can win.
Note: Six of FSU's eight conference opponents (like Miami) have scheduled a Bye week before playing FSU. They come out with new wrinkles not seen on film. I think that plays in to why FSU plays so much better after half time adjustments.

Re: FSU-Miami
I didn't start watching this game until late in the 1st half, but I never got the sense Florida State was going to lose. Maybe they looked bad early in the 1st half, but not when I watched them. I got the sense that Miami was just hanging on from late in the 2nd half on. They had chances to win, but didn't take advantage. Winston was very good in the 2nd half, Cook was better. The defensive guy that caught the deflected pass was the star of the game, both for that and outstanding defense.
Florida State has warts for sure, but who doesn't. Ohio State gave up 3 scores from turnovers yesterday and let Minnesota back in the game with 5 minutes to go. If Minnesota executed the onside kick, it could have been a very different out come. Alabama let Miss State back in the game. TCU had to comeback against KANSAS. Oregon is a good football team. They have probably looked like the best team so far. No one stands out. Not that I have seen play at least.
