I thought the refs completely blew the call in the UGA/Tech game. Thomas was stopped for about 5 seconds, play should have been blown dead for forward progress. But it went the other way for a Georgia TD, huge swing in the game that the Yellow Jackets aren't going to rebound from. The SEC Network announcers haven't even mentioned the words "forward progress" though

Very true! That took the winds our of their sails. Until that fumble I thought the game was over.

Pooch kicks or squibs are dumb, especially if you're talking about the game being a field goal difference with 10+ seconds. Just kick it downfield. Especially with the kickoffs moved up from where they were a couple of years ago, what are the odds that you give up a touchdown on a kickoff? .5%? Instead you gift wrap them field position between the 35-45 yard line.
