PEARL HARBOR REMEMBRANCE

Postby warrriorsfan808 » Sun Dec 07, 2014 10:45 am

Please take a moment to remember those we lost on December 7, 1941. Yesterday I went out to the Arizona Memorial (today will be too crowded) to place a lei in the water and remember what happened this morning Sunday, December 7th at 7:55 am. I while at the memorial I meet 2 of the 4 surviving members of the USS Arizona crew. I was honored for that opportunity.

Done. Those who don't study and remember history are doomed to repeat it.

Thanks for expressing your thoughts and feelings, it helps us remember. That was time when every American paid a price for freedom.

I have a friend who is in Hawaii today. I hope he realizes what day it is and goes to the memorial.

In the time I have been out here I have visited every site that had some thing to do with W.W. II from the bases at Hickam and Pearl Harbor to Bellows, MCB Kaneohe Bay, to the hill out on the North Shore where the radar station was set up that picked up the incoming Japanese planes but were told they were our planes coming in from California. In high school history was my favorite subject to be able to see the places I learned about in school has been great.

I remember sailing past the Arizona. VERY somber experience some 50 years after it happened. :(
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
