Actually I feel the same way. I catch a lot of flack around home because I have been open about not liking the playoffs, especially because Ohio State wouldn't have been in it if not for the playoffs. I always say if the we were under the old bowl system the Buckeye's wouldn't have made it this year, but we would have been champs in 2006 so it would have evened out.

I believe if they are going to have a playoff, they need to can the committee and make it a legit tournament by letting in every conference champ. I think evenually it will get there, I just think there are only going to be 90-100 teams and 5 conferences when it is all said and done. The conference championships will be round one of the playoffs.

I'm with you. I don't like the playoff system, give me the old bowl system, or the 2003 BCS computers and just let things go, you are never going to please everyone. Stop trying. It's like the NCAA is based out of Washington.

Having said that, I like the idea of a playoff being based on the conference champions and the first round being the conference championship.
