Utah v Utah State

Postby donovan » Sat Sep 12, 2015 12:28 am

Not sure the Utah is helping to make the PAC 12's case. I like Utah State, this new conference alignment is not working well for smaller schools and will only get worse...

With all the said. I seldom want to turn off a game because of an announcer, but Mack Brown is terrible, so obnoxious.

Yes, well, their commentary was better than hearing Leinart get patted on the back for his past heisman the 20 or times they brought it up ... or Wannstedt make multiple references to "What we did when I was at Miami".

.

Utah State had their chances tonight. Too many mistakes in the redzone finished them. The Utes don't look like the team the media wants us to believe they are.

In any event, this was a fun game most of the way.

All of this tonight ... and Serena Williams lost (so no Grand Slam) :D

Too bad about Williams.....I think there should be a constitutional amendment that only US Citizens can win the US Open. Make it like College Football playoffs. All teams can enter but only certain ones can win.

As for the commentators, maybe fired coaches are not the best analysts. When I go to the game if Mrs. Donovan goes with me or if she watches it on TV...especially if Boise is playing...that is the only team she really cares about...oh the Seapeddlers also...her commentary is...wonderful, yes dear it is wonderful. Certainly I care the uniforms are properly tucked in and the coaches don't use profanity.

Missed this game...did watch Miami-FAU.

To me, wins are wins....but now wins are qualified. You have good wins, so so wins, bad wins.

Mississippi State vaults into the Top 25 based on their ESPN announced "quality win" over Southern Miss (34-16) while Northwestern beats a ranked Stanford (16-6) and it isn't that kind of quality win.
“If short hair and good manners won football games, Army and Navy would play for the national championship every year.”
