As it always seems to with FSU and the Canes...this game came down to the 4th quarter (and also featured a wide right).
Jimbo is playing an old school game this year. Field position, rely on defense, run the clock at the end of the game.
He is playing a chip away, move the chains offense. Runs and short to intermediate passes. And if Cook breaks a long run, that is just gravy.
On defense, Jimbo was rushing four all night. The blitz seems to be a forgotten play. Seemed content to let a team move the field and then play red zone defense when the field gets small.

Re: FSU-Miami
FSU allowed Miami 30 yards on 29 rush attempts......Someone read the historical data..in this series, the team that wins the rushing battle wins the game.

I won't miss Ohio State-Michigan this year.....this game should be a doozy since Harbaugh has the guys playing really well.
After losing 10 of the last 11 to the Bucks, can Michigan be returning to becoming an annual rival to be reckoned with?

I didn't think it would be this year at the beginning of the year, but their defense is playing at very high level and their offense is playing good so it looks like they are going to be a force from here out. Playing there is also going to make it tougher. I'm not sorry to see them climbing the ladder. In the past, when they were great if we beat them we knew we had a good team. It hasn't been that way for a long time know. Win or lose this year's game should be a dogfight. The winner will have an inside track to the conference championship. The B1G needs to have Michigan be good for the conference to be truly back. I'm not a rah rah conference guy, but I do want our schedule to get tougher and that is part of it.
