USC @ Notre Dame Game Temperature

Postby Cane from the Bend » Fri Oct 16, 2015 4:42 am

The game will be in South Bend this Saturday; kickoff time is set for 7:30 pm.

The High Temperature (usually hits around 2:30 pm this time of year) on Saturday for South Bend is being projected @ 48 degrees, with a low of 35 (that's near the freezing range).

Gonna be chilly down on those sidelines.

They are calling for a low of 28 here. Northbend is usually colder than us. I wonder why the difference? Game time temps for Ohio State will probably be mid to low 40's. I'm not looking for anything too cold.

They're calling for a freeze advisory tonight. Afternoon weather conditions tomorrow will be cloudy, with scattered showers.

That means little to no sun during the day, so the ground level will not get any warmth prior to dusk, which is when kickoff time will happen.

I'm glad I'll be inside watching nationally from my living room.

Ok. We are all clear skies today. It already 41 here. Looks like a nice day for a game. It will be a little chilly tonight, but it should be a packed house so that should make 10 degrees warmer inside the 'Shoe.

I didn't see any rain today, so that part of the forecast was a miss. But very little sunlight.

It's 40 degrees right now, and their about to kickoff. Should be a great night for ball.
They are calling for a freeze warning overnight, so temps will drop fast without the sun.
Another thing, is how dry the area is. Almost no humidity, so it is a dry cold.

I wonder how well the USC players will adapt. While you're moving you stay warm. So they'll need to stay active on those sidelines for sure.

Ought to be a fun game.
