Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor—and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me “to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness.”

Happy Thanksgiving
It's difficult in today's age, when we are told there is so much we don't have (usually spoken with political motives), to maintain an 'Attitude of Gratitude'. But I hope that when you lay your head on the pillow tonight you will have at least once either prayerfully thanked or simply dwelled for a moment on all we have in this country.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving
It is a Great Day of Thanksgiving. Our life has changed, but so grateful being with Mrs. Donovan. Thankful for my friends on this board.
And specifically thankful today for everyone's picks because it is the beginning of the decline for you all.
I paused here for a moment of all the things that have happened in my life in the past 12 years on this board. Sometime I will list them. The board may have been the only consistent item.
Happy Thanksgiving.

and all the good things that I scan,
I thank thee O Lord that I am not......
........a vegetarian.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.....

”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd
