Gators beat the Vols for the 14 time of 15.
Man...that sucks for Tennessee fans, We have a bunch around here (90 miles from Knoxville)...They despise the Gators and they assume that all of us guys from Florida are Gators...I've set the ones in our local sports bar straight...

Tennessee needs to go in a new direction, just as badly as UCLA does ...
The Vols are at the lowest point that they can be. When Vanderbilt has become more of a conference competitor than you, then you are not heading the right way.

Steve Spurrier...... born in Miami, Florida. Moved to and grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee were he was a star quarterback at Science Hill High School. Now you’ve got to understand that Johnson City is Vols Country, about 100 miles from Knoxville, where the only thing that is not Orange are the bananas.
Spurrier chose the Florida Gators over the Vols to play his college football..... had an outstanding career at Florida where he won the Heisman Trophy and later was the Head Coach at Florida, where he continued to frustrate the Vols and their very avid fans.
Tennessee Fans, to this day, haven’t gotten over it and still despise the man.

”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd
