I was going to take Oregon State, too.
There it is, though. The Beavers are really improved. No question.
With a poorly spotted ball, that would have given them a first down vs Washington, they'd have been able to run out the clock, and their record would be 3-1, instead of 2-2.
Looks as though the Pac is sunk. Without USC being able to make up their cancelled game against Utah [Trojans had to drop the game; while the Utes made it up by scavenging together a game with Washington], I do not think they'll have enough of a schedule to get selected. Especially where they're currently ranked by the committee.
So, we're back to a 2cnd team from another conference.
Ohio State just dropped their second of the year, leaving them with just one game leeway for the Big Ten Championship.
Of course, if OSU is not available to play for a Conference title, Northwestern would have a clean shot at going undefeated, with a showdown vs the Hoosiers in the B1G CCG. [however, that's no gimme after watching Indiana play against the Bucks]
