Predictions 2024: Week Twelve

"It is only impossible until it has been accomplished." ... then it becomes standardized ...
Success is measured by results; whereas Character is measured through the means by which one achieves those results . . .
It seems the Rapture did come for two worthy souls:
In Memory of Grandpa Howdy
In Memory of Donovan Davisson

”We’re already in a time where the on-field aspect of College Football is almost a distraction. It’s an era filled with handwringing about player empowerment, NCAA deregulation, the transfer portal and realignment all while the sport generally moves toward a professional model.” ~ Dennis Dodd

Saturday, November 16th
(1.) Iowa State --- [but they are the wounded animal; can the Bearcats strike the vulnerable?]
(2.) Illinois --- [the Big 10 is rolling around in cycles right now]
(3.) Rutgers --- [but do I really believe this??]
(4.) USC --- [could be]
(5.) Texas --- [the Razorbacks Love their feudin' ... will it matter, tho???]
(6.) Clemson --- [though, this is precisely the type of game the Panthers accidentally win]
(7.) Tulane --- [I struggled with this one]
(8.) Coastal Carolina --- [or I'm continuing a trend]
(9.) California --- [it's a long way to travel to take an L]
(10.) Utah State --- [will the cool, drier air affect the Islanders????]
(11.) SMU --- [however, the Eagles have been rather disruptful]
(12.) flurDah! --- [they've got nothin' to lose anymore]
(13.) Baylor --- [to the Victory go Ye' Bowling]
(14.) South Carolina --- [these guys are playing some strong ball these days]
(15.) San José State --- [the Broncos have Jeanty; how many know about SJSU WR Nash?????]
(16.) Kansas State --- [two teams on similar trajectories]
(17.) Louisiana --- [going with the team who is undefeated in-conference]
(18.) Tennessee --- [this may actually happen]
(19.) North Carolina --- [I won't be surprised in the least; should this go the other way]
(20.) BYU --- [lots of close losses vs lots of close wins ... I'm not so sure about this one]
