Mountaineer Mascot reports……..

Postby Mountainman » Sun Dec 01, 2024 11:34 am

…….. that yesterday in Lubbock, Texas that someone kicked the tail off his Coonskin Cap and stole his Musket Rifle while handing him a Pink Squirt Pistol.

Yesterday was not a good day to be a Mountaineer where ever you happened to be.

It was a pretty crappy day to be a Buckeye too. It was to the point where some were saying that Day tanked the game to not play in the conference Championship game. For whatever sense that makes. I believe Ohio State should have played themselves out of the playoffs yesterday. They absolutely do not deserve in.

Unless your name is Derek, then if you occupy this board, you probably had a terrible Saturday ...

I am not posting much about this for two reasons:

(a.) I saw it coming

(b.) anything more would be very aggressive

It's a VERY crappy way to win. They played like a high school team until 5 minutes left in the game. WHY do they always do that??

You can point blame in a lot of directions, Carson Beck, Bobo play calling being predictable, receivers dropping passes, etc etc. Eventually you have to put it on Kirby Smart, who is ultimately responsible for what happens.

Then with 5 minutes to go, you decide to play like the team you can be. It's INFURIATING!
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
