I see that my esteemed colleagues………

Postby Mountainman » Mon Dec 09, 2024 4:19 pm

…….. have posted no comments about the College Football Selection Committee’s choices to populate the College Football Playoff Bracket. I, myself, am hesitant to do so. Instead, I’ll, express just one of my observations. Has anyone looked at #3 Boise State’s regular season schedule???

I will say that I did get a chuckle during the post game Trophy Presentation after the SEC Title Game when Kirby Smart gave Greg Sankey a shot with Sankey standing right behind him.

Overall I like the playoff as far as the teams go. I still prefer going back to the bowls 8) That'll never change.

I like Alabama was left out for once. I think the reality is that they could NOT put Bama in and still claim there is no bias towards the SEC. Bama did not deserve to be there, and regardless of the money surrounding their program, the committee had to say "sorry tide, not this year"....but I felt like they really wanted them to be there, but Clemson tied their hands.

I'm not sure why Kirby said what he said, it didn't make any sense to sort of passively insult someone since Sankey does not set teams schedules.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Who knows what it was about, Smart said something about so many road games……. Probably just a couple of Big Dogs growling at one another and Kirby had the microphone.
