………. Well, the University Presidents were paid and failed, the Athletics Directors were paid and failed, the NCAA was paid and failed, the Conference Commissioners we’re paid and failed, the College Football Playoff Committee was paid and failed, the College Football Playoff Selection Committee was paid and failed…… and the Winner is, drum roll….. :|

While I think there should be a uniform set of rules for all to follow and believe that this shouldn’t be left up the the B1G and the SEC to collude against the rest of the leagues, like what has been happening, I believe thinking the government is the answer to fixing this is not prudent. What has the government ever took over that improved the situation? I know of nothing.

……….. hopefully, there is salvation for COLLEGE FOOTBALL somewhere in this mess, that’s about to get “messier”…… (is that even a word  )

In any even, the 12 team deal is just a money grab for the TV guys……. When a 4 team match-up between some combination of Texas, Ohio State, Oregon and Georgia would have “Crowned the Best of the Best” to the team that made the fewest mistakes or errors during the games.

I think the only way to come to a real answer to this problem is to bring the schools and the presidents together at a table without regard to the TV people and make a plan that is #1 - passes the legal test. and #2 is in the best interests of not only the schools collectively ( and it has to be collectively), but also is fair to the student athletes as a whole. And I mean all of them as well. Not just football and basketball. Which honestly, I don't see anyone on the horizen willing to give up any of their chips to make it happen.
