What I Assumed Was A Trending Meme ...

Postby Cane from the Bend » Thu Dec 12, 2024 12:57 am

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Becomes the unsuspecting reality ...

Bill Belichick confirmed as the now hired Head Coach of North Carolina.

I wonder if next season, will there be a Deion effect.

I cannot see the TV numbers falling low. Imagine the ratings if UNC were to play Colorado in a playoff game.

So, that happened.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In other coaching news, it's become official in Morgantown.

Mountainman, is this what you were looking for when you wanted Brown out?

Winning can be a cure all.

However, the detractors are going to lean on resentment and say "I told you so" in any WVU loss.

Is Rodriguez the answer?

I can't imagine a butt load of recruits wouldn't want to come and play for a guy who has hands full of super bowl rings. Even if he is 70. Which at my age now doesn't seem old at all.

I got 2/3rds of what I was looking for……. Someone who can coach, someone who can recruit, and someone who can be trusted.

We’ll see if a leopard can change its spots. :?

Actually, I think this was a good move. I think Rich Rod has a big understanding of how good he had it at West Virginia before, better than anyone they could have hired. I think he is a good coach, that just got a little too full of himself and thought he could completely change personnel to fit his style rather than fitting his style to his personnel. I think he will better now. I think he his where he wants to be and where he never should have left. I hope it all works out.

I'm sure he'll realize his age, when trying to keep up with a 24 year old catches up with him.

Still, in a semi-pro model, he seems like the right guy to play test the direction of the sport.

Suggest you try 100 milligrams of Sildenafil, it won’t make you any younger, but it sure will make you remember how things were back in the ‘good ole days’…….

I wish it had been my thought, but I am not that clever.
