I am not sure the back up isn't a better player. Just a little inexperienced. I still think Georgia wins, but this will be a good game. Marcus Freeman will has some stuff dialed up for the rook.

Hmmmm……… I saw where Georgia’s #1 QB is out, but you know as well as I do that when these heavyweights lineup the team that can run the ball and make the fewest mistakes usually win the game. I’m thinking this backup can hand the ball off, but can ND deal with the running game, as they did against Indiana, and maybe he’ll throw one to the Irish.

We’ll see……. I’m sticking with the Irish.

Georgia did lose their QB#1, but I think their QB2 may not be much of a drop off, but with a dumbed down offense for QB2 and Notre Dame's D if they can get in his face they could make life uncomfortable for him. I may change. I haven't decided yet.

Okay, so, from whatever has been said, I've been hearing Miami is ready to pass the reigns to Emory Williams. They are saying he's been impressive, and looks like the future.

That being said, this is new information to me:

Last thing I read was that Ward said “I’ve got one more game in me….”

I promise you that the team will play harder for Gunner Stockton than they did for Carson Beck.

Carson has declared for the draft, but it won't matter. His stock after this year and that injury is no where. Sad but true.

I've said since the end of the last texas game that if the backup QB can prove himself against the hated Irish that Ga will win it this year. But there are so many questions to answer. We'll see how it plays out on the field.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Freeman is perplexing here ...

You're winning on the parameter, yet you're trying to burn clock up the middle.

More yards without the first down is a greater percentage to earn the first down on a following play.

Seems elementary.

Marcus Freeman has turned out to be a better coach than his years would suggest. He is a true blue Tressel disciple, but he has a lot more confidence in his players than Tress did. He has built Notre Dame the right way. From the ground up. Trench players first. Then run the ball, then a qb who can manage the game. Next he will go after receivers and an upgrade at QB.

I root for Marcus to succeed because he is a first class human being, but it is tough for me to give that team credit. I guess I have to now.

I wonder which is louder, right now ...

The sports bar downtown, Corby's?

Or, Derek's living room?

It has to be tough to take for Derek. Notre Dame is pushing Georgia around and that isn’t what happens to Kirby Smart teams. Georgia’s teams are generally built from the ground up too. I think the Domers are the team to fear in this playoff. I don’t see James Franklin beating them.

Now, can Georgia score two TD's in 2 minutes ..?

If you're ND, you're looking to package a deathlock return coverage.
