400 Mill?? They have 800 people working on it??

What do you call 100 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean??
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

A good start…….

I believe I posted an interview with the Lead Attorney here on the board……. Where he said something to the effect that he knew they had a case, they were ‘Judge Shopping’ for the ‘right Judge’.

And they found one, a liberal judge, who happened to be a female from the San Francisco area, and was ready to retire…….. and I believe I read where she did after the case was appealed.

……….. which begs the question, just where in the hell was the leadership of College Athletics???? If they didn’t know, they should have……. And look what happened, we’ve got FOUR CONFERENCE COMMISSIONERS, each with their own self serving interests, running around with their hair on fire.

I just see all of this as the destruction of non revenue sports. I have had several girla come from my golf program go to play college golf. I have 3 or 4 kids now that will be able to play at some level. People think you get a scholarship, even at a D1 schools for golf, you get a full ride. That isn't true. My daughter has academic and golf money to fill her scholarship. Since she doesn't have to stay in university housing she actually made money at first. When the school AD found out she was adding money to her school account he cut her golf money. Even though her position on the team warrented several thousand more dollars. But her sport is a net drain for the athletic department. This will only get worse.
