O' What A Day !!!

Postby Cane from the Bend » Sat Sep 13, 2025 10:01 pm

------------------------------------------------------------

Hello College Football ...

How've you been :?:

That has Got to feel good for the Board Members today.

Doss, if you get in here to read this, buddy, I apologize for Not putting the Razorbacks game on the Pcks'List.

That is a Track Meet, and Kiffin is proving he is a Defense Doesn't Matter, guy.

LSU / flurDah! is what I thought it's be.

Country Roads are singing All Night Long. What a gutsy game by those Mountaineers, to comeback after giving up the lead. Forcing OT, and winning it.

Same flippin' thing for Georgia. Derek, that has to feel pretty darn good. Vols fans get pretty obnoxious. They beat a FCS opponent by 70, and think they're gonna win the National Title.

Tennessee hasn't even won the SEC since the first year of the BCS era, in 1998, let alone been in a National Championship since then.

Miami won much bigger than I suspected.

My initial prediction was 27-17.

I did not see 49-12 coming.

USF just went from little brother, to B.astardized Redheaded Stepbrother.

Texas A&M is up 28-24 over the Irish at the Half. Lot of game to go there.

And, I hate this for Fanatic...... even though he's not been around in some time; Old Dominion is presently beating the Hokies into submission, 38-13. They were up 31-0 at one point.

Clemson is what I thought they were.

Somebody said, we {Miami} do not play Georgia Tech this season. To which I replied; "Unless we face them for the ACC Championship."

And, North Texas just milsapped poor Washington State. The Mean Green beat them down, 59-10.

Are we having Fun yet, folks ??

Miami, Oregon, and Oklahoma are the most impressive teams so far this season in my humble opinion.

Didn't get to watch any games due some all day travel I had to do to Kansas to visit my plane which is stuck in Hill City Kansas. Talk about a remote place.

We did fly over the Arkansas State stadium and catch a short glimpse of them playing Iowa State.

I'm STILL not sold on Ga and I see probably 3 losses this year. I think Tenn is probably overrated as well, and probably should have won that game, but the kicker shanked it. There is a part of me that is glad I was wrong, but I still feel torn, and even though I paid for not picking them, I'm probably not going to pick them over Alabama either.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Which was actually a really good game for the most part.

Yeah, I am finding myself agreeing, here. Bama has looked to have found something they can work with, offensively. Normally, that wouldn't be the difference maker in their game versus Georgia. Like Tennessee last year, where the Vols offense was supposed to be this unstoppable machine, until of course they ran into UGA's Defense, and then again, eventually humiliated in Columbus Round 1 in the Playoff. {invitational}

This year, Georgia bent, and even broke. They didn't cause Tenn to miss that FG. Though, the false start that pushed 'em back 5 yards just before they went out to kick it might have gotten in the head of footloose, there. The drive in Overtime was on Josh Heupel playing conservative, protecting their range for 3, taking the points and leaving it up to the Defense. Just as he did in the final seconds of Regulation. There was plenty of time to push towards the end zone. They just played for 3 and it bit them.

Either way, Georgia gave up too many points for the standard. Against the Tide, it very well could go the other way.

Right now, as much as I hate to admit it, I would include that ratchet entitled state college up along the Northern Panhandle, as well.
