Game Of the Night 2/12/07

Postby BYUfan1 » Mon Feb 12, 2007 7:02 pm

Some people might go with Oklahoma State and Texas, but I am going with Davidson at College of Charleston. Davidson is 21-4, 12-1 in the Southern Conference and COC is 17-8 and 10-3 in the conference. COC has won 10 of 12 with the losses coming from Davidson and Appalachian State, the two teams leading their respective halves of the Southern Conference.

This game will definitely show how good Davidson really is. COC is hot and so is their point guard, Dontaye Draper. The last time I saw Davidson, Davidson put so much pressure on the other team's point guard, they could never get into their sets in a timely fashion. I cannot see that happening in this game. Cannot wait until tip-off.

Good Grief ... the Hoyas have shot 79% from the floor in the first half and lead the Mountaineers by 17 at the half.

Exactly what you were talking about right? They can upset UCLA and get hammered by Georgetown. Go figure

Basketball has more to do with matchs ups then even football. One team can be undefeated and you may match up really well, the other can be .500 and kick your butt.

Yep, that's what I was talking about, Eric.

You're right on point too, Spence ... the Mountaineers had no answer for Hibbert.

Physical game ... whew.
