That's the problem with those 7, 8, 9, and 10 seeds. As much as they can help your bracket (considering one normally goes on a tear), they can ruin it just as quickly because those matchups are a flip of the coin. I had a freak incident because I only got 2 of the 8 matchups wrong by picking Wisconsin and Arkansas. Personally, I'm shocked. This must be a fluke, because on a year-in-year-out basis, this is where my bracket gets killed.

Whoops, I also picked UNC-Wilmington. Did that game make anybody else furious? How do you foul on a 3-point shot, then how do you take an off-balance 3 pointer to end the game? Not to mention this one, how do you blow a 19 point lead in the 2nd half?
Well, it really doesn't matter because both would've been manhandled by Duke anyway.

Only Colorado Loves Football has a team left that they picked to win the title - UCLA.
Eric, Spence, Colorado, RollTide, JasonG and Howdy all picked UConn.
OpenSkies, ..fanatic and Irish 88 picked Duke.
Lubbock picked Villanova
Yeofoot picked Texas
..fanaticjr picked Gonzaga
7 pickers placed 0 teams in the final 4 - RollTide, JasonG, Howdy, Irish88, Lubbock, Yeofoot, ..fanaticjr
5 pickers placed 1 - Eric (UCLA), OpenSkies (UCLA), ..fanatic (UCLA), Spence (Florida), Colorado (UCLA).
Winner was supposed to be determined by the following order:
1) Picker of national champion
If that didn't happen, it goes to
2) Team in final pairing
IF that didn't happen, it goes to
3) Teams in final 4
And on down the line.

Fanatic, could you tally the most games picked right so we can see who won the wager? Matt gave me a link to the brackets, but I accidentally deleted it. So I can't see the brackets.
Games count 1 point each with a 5 point bonus for having the 2 teams in the final game right and a 10 point bonus for picking the winner. That should eliminate any ties.
Since no one has the winner or picked the final two teams, I think if there is a tie the person who picked the team that went the farthest should get the tie breaker. Since I said this after the fact, it should be subject to approval by everyone who took the bet. (hopefully someone won outright.)

Like ...Fanatic said, this is how the winner is chosen...
Person who picked the winner of the tourny
If no one did that...
Person who picked both participants for the Champ.
If no one did that...
Person who picked on participant for the Champ.

CLF picked UCLA and UConn to be in the championship game, with UCLA winning the tournament. But whether UCLA beats UF or not doesn't matter. He's already won =]

Spence, you want me to take/give the money from the wagers, or do you want to do it?

Hey, here's a problem though... CLF is the winner, but he didn't bet. So does he get the money, or does it defer to the next winner out of who put their money in?
