BYU1: I have been checking in on your numerous posts and have really been awaiting your analysis of the NCAA play-in game between the Coppin St Eagles and the Mount St Mary's Mountaineers. I am sure I am not alone in this.
I am sure you can see by the number of responses on all your other recaps of games played some time ago that everyone must also just be waiting for this game.
Thanks and keep up the good work.

We, as a group, don't follow basketball as closely as football. Still this is the basketball forum and thanks to BYUfan1 we actually have some support on it. I appreciate the time he takes to update this forum.

I really enjoy college basketball, almost as much as college football and follow recruiting information and such, but recaps of games played a month ago don't excite me. I don't think I am in the minority, based on the lack of responses. As you can see, I responded to the info of Tyler Hansborough transferring, as that was news.
If he enjoys reporting every game that was played last month in the NCAA tourney, no problem. I was just trying to tell him in a cute way that he might be wasting his time.

Actually, I already did an analysis of that game. I just thought it would be interesting to talk about the games as I finally got to watch them. I guess I could have just copied someone else's analysis of the game as they happened, but I didn't want to that. I just wanted to watch as many tournament games as I could, and I am still going thru tapes of games. It is not a waste of time if you enjoy doing it. I will probably be watching tapes of old games until college football starts. I want to see how close I can get to seeing all 341 NCAA teams. I still have about 120 teams to go. Maybe it only has significance to me, but it is what I want to do.

Re: Anxiously Awaiting
I applaud you in your quest. I have many tapes of old Arkansas and Iowa games (mostly football) and every now and then will watch one, if nothing else is on. As I have gotten older, it is even better, as often I don't remember the outcome.BYUfan1 wrote:RazorHawk wrote:BYU1: I have been checking in on your numerous posts and have really been awaiting your analysis of the NCAA play-in game between the Coppin St Eagles and the Mount St Mary's Mountaineers. 257 And Counting
It is a slow go as I trying to watch the leftover college basketball games and baseball games during my free time. Pretty soon, I have to get ready for college football. I still have 84 college teams to go! I'm glad there is not 341 Division I college football teams!

The process is still going. Now I am down to 40 teams. Unfortunately, at this point, that means watching 40 games. Finding the time to watch basketball while watching baseball is not an easy task. I hope I can finish it out before college football starts.
