FSU Sophomore in the Masters

Postby billybud » Wed Apr 08, 2009 8:53 am

A 20 year old FSU sophomore, Drew Kittleson, is in the Masters this year. It has to be a mind boggling experience to be in the Masters and be a kid. He practiced yesterday with Phil Mickelson.

The kid will tee off Thursday at 11:07 with Larry Mize and John Merrick.

I'll keep an eye on him. I would give anything for a chance to play at Augusta. Then to play at Augusta in the Masters is just an amazing opportunity.

What an incredible opportunity. He is young enough that even if he plays poorly he can still say it was worth the experience. I would love to practice with Phil Mickelson as well.

Man I bet I could wedge some divots 30 or 40 yards at Augusta. Show 'em how to turn a par 3 into a 6 or 7 stroke adventure! It wasn't until the 3rd time I played golf that I realized there was more than 1 hole. I thought an hour was a rather short game.
