First Half Leaderboard

Postby Eric » Sun Oct 18, 2009 3:18 am

Here are the first half totals. This is a mini-award type of deal as we'll be crowning a first half champ, second half champ, and overall champion. Here they are:

1. Spence - 89
2. Eric - 88
T3. Doss- 84
T3. S.Carolina Fan - 84
T5. WVU - 81
(added in later) Donovan - 81
T5. RazorHawk - 81
T5. Howdy - 81
T5. Strawman - 81
9. ...Fanatic JR - 77
10. ...Fanatic - 75
-----------(missed one week or more)-----------
12. WoVeU - 64
13. GoBoilers - 63
14. Vileborg - 62
15. Rutanreds - 45 (high scorer)
16. Derek - 44
17. Billybud - 35
18. BYUFan - 30
19. LSUDog - 18
20. Warriors Fan - 12

Well, there it is. Congratulations to Spence, our first half champ. I knew I was slipping, but I was assuming I would hold the field off, but Spence caught up to me! He needed to beat me by two; I finished 13-7 and he went 15-5. Congrats again! :D Our week 7 high scorer was Rutanreds, again. My money is on him to win the second half! He looks like he's ready to lay us to waste here. He was the high scorer of the week with 16 correct picks. Good luck to all of those in the second half and if you haven't been playing along, this is your chance to pick for something! :D

89 out of 140. Wow none of us did really well this time around huh. That is like 63.5%. Mountainman picked up around 80% that one year.

I just can't see anyone pulling an 80% in today's game. Teams are too close.

MM did it just a few years ago. I'm sure there was that much different he was just really good a picking teams straight up.

Whoops!

Your avatar and Doss' look alike. Just a random assortment of the same shade of blue  You had 14 last week. Problem fixed.

I'd think it a bit more difficult.

Eric...how do other member numbers compare from 3 years ago to today?

Most were about what we have now except MM and Rutanreds were exceptional players.

I don't know. It has been a while since I have heard from him. I talked to him right before the WVU=Oklahoma BCS game and then again after the LSU national championship win. I haven't heard from him since then. He was sharp as a tack - on football as well as lots of other things. Also a very good guy.

What happened to him? Why did he disappear like that?? It's been a while....
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
