I've never played fantasy college football. What service has that even...ESPN, Yahoo, etc?

And no Michigan players?

SEC...I thought that was the mother of all fantasy leagues....I'll be in town all week.

Yes, everyone else fantasizes about being a part of it.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I'm using CBS. And yes, no Michigan players. At all :D

I did get a bunch of non-BCS players because generally the offenses are more high-octane and the competition is considerably less. I checked out the starting lineup's week 1 matchups, and only DeWayne Harris, Deonte Thompson, and Vance McDonald are facing FBS teams 8)

I just signed up for fantasy college football with CBS Sports. I joined a league that only allows you to draft SEC and Bix XII players. I am looking forward to it. Thanks for telling us about this Eric. I had no idea they had fantasy sports for college.

My brother wanted me to do a league with him so I reluctantly decided to make a second team (I now have 3 NFL teams and 2 college  ). Was looking forward to stealing Greg Childs rather late in the draft but some guy snagged him before I could get him :(

I joined a CBS fantasy college football league and had my draft today. It was 10 teams and we could only draft players from the SEC and Big XII.

Here is my team:
STARTERS:
QB - John Brantley (FL)
RB - Trent Richardson (AL)
RB - Mario Fannin (AUB)
WR - Greg Childs (AR)
WR - Joe Adams (AR)
WR - Jarius Wright (AR)
TE - Ryan Deehan (CO)
K- Josh Jasper (LSU)
D - Oklahoma
RESERVES:
QB - Mike Hartline (KY)
RB - Christine Michael (TA&M)
WR - Rolandis Woodland (MO)
TE - Tim Biere (KS)
K - Alex Tejada (AR)

Not bad but you can tell I am a homer picking 3 Arkansas WR's. Greg Childs was my second pick...and then I was shocked no one had picked Adams or Wright in the mid draft rounds so I got them (especially since there were 2 other Hog fans in the league). Mallett was the number 1 overall pick and I wanted him. Oh well. What will kill me is week 5 when Ark has a bye...my only other receiver (we can only have 4 on our roster at a time) also has a week 5 bye.

Eric...thanks for telling me about this.

No problem, and you can't really go wrong betting on Arkansas' and Auburn's offense. They're going to put up some huge numbers this season, so getting Childs and Fanin were good deals (and maybe if Tejada can get a little more consistent this year...). Trent Richardson is probably a great fit against the lesser teams as he would probably get a boatload of work against them.

Hey Doss, how has your team done in the first two weeks?

I'm sitting here being driven crazy by the Rutgers/FIU game because I'm only up by 2 fantasy points when this guy is playing Mohamed Sanu of Rutgers who is apparently an all-purpose guy who plays out of the wildcat. There's 6 minutes left and I'm hanging on for dear life

My other league has left me keeping an eye on Nevada / Colorado State as I only need a few points from Vai Taua and Virgil Green to pull into the lead and win my game, which, since it's in the second quarter, I feel pretty comfortable about.

I am 2-0....winning both weeks easily. Trent Richardson has done well (his numbers will drop when Ingram returns) and Joe Adams and Greg Childs have put up big numbers in Ark's offense. I did add South Carolinas defense (dropped Kicker Alex Tejada...he is no longer the field goal kicker for Ark...just kick offs). I have Brantley at QB but should have started Hartline this past week (he put up huge numbers)...I won anyway.
