I'd love to see it.

Also interested in the Syracuse at Washington game. Syracuse fans seem to think they are bowl-caliber this year. If they are , they can sneak up on an unsuspecting team.

Actually one game that really has my attention this week is Central Michigan at Temple. I'm not sure why this potential MAC Championship game matchup is taking place in week 2, but it is definitely interesting.

This is a good example of our varied perspectives....

With FSU-Oklahoma, OSU-Miami, USF-Florida, Ga-South Carolina, Michigan-Notre Dame, Tennessee-Oregon, etc, etc. This pairing was not even in my consciousness. Actually, not in my universe.

Goes to show that there is a lot of different worlds in college football and a lot of fan interests.

As far as Canes @ Buckeyes:
Not sure where to go with this one. Do you take the Buckeyes because it is at home? Or are they just better? Tressel is a great coach also. I am taking the Buckeyes.

I feel you on this one;

Gonna be 36 in Oct myself...

Just turned 39 myself whipper-snappers! :D

Iowa will be a blow out. Mich/ND will be interesting
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

I hope you are right about Iowa, but I seldom believe anything you say. Under Kirk Ferentz, Iowa has been about .500 versus Iowa St and almost every year has had the better team. Iowa State has apparently placed more emphasis on this game than Iowa has. I wish this game were played at the end of the season.

Also, there is some speculation that if and when the Big 10 goes to a 9 game schedule, this rivalry may go away.

Just another rivalry Delany can destroy. If they joined the B-10 he would put them in the other division.
