Hawaii is tied 28-28 right now, I think they're late in the 3rd quarter.

Yeah yeah, blame Derek

College Football News has also really been pushing the Bulldogs this year. In their top 120, CFN has Georgia ranked #3.

Think I will blame him too.

I really should save up my winnings to pay for the treatment of the stomach ulcers I will most certainly have by the time I'm 40.

Wouldn't give it up even so. Love football season.

Its what I do....

Anyway, looks as if Florida has gotten itself under control here. I still would be uncertain about next week, if Tennessee finishes within 14 against Oregon. Could be a good game, either way, at least.

Don't know. Florida could still win and cover if there are more turnovers. I'm still glad I didn't touch this, either way.

On the one hand, USF could be underrated and UF is overrated. On the other hand, Vegas knew the general public was potentially overreacting to UF's first game against Miami.

I'm still feeling ok about this game. What matters though is UF winning, period. And if we lose...at least it wasn't a conference game. But then again, anything short of beating USF by 21 will make me nervous about the UT game next week...

Yeah, that's why I don't like playing the high profile teams. Vegas knows we're watching that and corrects for it, then corrects it again when we second guess ourselves. I try to hope they aren't paying as much attention down the line, particularly the non-BCS schools (excluding Boise, who everybody is on to by now). Probably stupid, but the closest thing I have to an advantage at this. :|

And yet we're both having uneasy days, so what does that tell us about our smarts and strategies... :P

Somewhere, somebody has pounded Kansas plus the points, and is relaxed with an imported beer that he can afford, not giving his knowledge away to me.

I don't gamble, but sometimes I've been really tempted to. Seeing Kansas and the line makes me really wish I pulled the trigger on that one  . I knew Kansas would cover, didn't think they'd win.

Well, UF is covering right now. Anytime I place a "bet" I'm always uneasy, even if it's a "sure bet."

Its a rare thing to make a decent bet on a modest line, then turn on the TV or log on to see the game as a 28-0 blowout for your team in the middle of the second quarter, with no signs that they are looking back. Its a great feeling when that happens, but just all too rare. I had that last week with Arizona. Couldn't have expected it again, I guess.

17-6 Gamecocks and the game really wasn't that close.

Hawaii at the Army 14... Kick it already..!!

And its good. YEAHH YEAHH. I'm the most excited guy in the contiguous 48.

Easiest $5 I have made all day.

(okay, so it was more than that... between the spread and the over, I'm fairly content for this week. May not even play a late game.)

Florida is suffering some of the same woes as WVU. 1 year from White to Brown...a big change, but like Tebow, Brown would run and often in the FB dive manner. This takes much away from the line as far as scheme and responsibility. When you then have to block for a pocket guy...85% of the offense happens Tackle to Tackle! It is a big adjustment, and all the drills in the world won't get you there...scrimmages help, but you need game time, and a defense who wants nothing more than to cream your QB! Ahhhh, old school Football! :D
