Boise State vs. Wyoming

Postby silverfox » Sat Sep 18, 2010 9:49 pm

Halftime.

34-0

Total Yards: 406-59
Passing 292 to -93
Rushing 114-34
First Downs 18-4
Time of possession: 15:41 - 14:19

There is still the second half to play.... Kellen Moore actually had a pass intercepted for BSU's lone turnover...I guess his Heisman hopes are out the window now...

I like Moore as a QB. Heisman or not i think an NFL contract is in his future. He has a good arm and a good head. Those are the mein two things the NFL looks at in a QB.

For Heisman, though, I like Mallet from Arkansas. Hard for a Buckeye to endorse a guy how wore maize and blue, but he is the most impressive so far IMO.

51-6 Final

Not bad for an away Game and the unfriendly frost fields of Laramie.

Nice win. Boise State did what they needed to do.

Well lets see...er

Those who are negative about BSU will probably say the Broncs nearly got beat in the third quarter when they narrowly won the quarter 10-6...lol

And next week for ESPN Game Day the entire country will see the Broncos play #25 Oregon State ... at home in Boise on that Blue Turf ... The Beavers hung on to best Louisville, 35-28, earlier today.

I think Boise did what they needed to do, also. Petis does the back flip and he is benched....Petersen is not into that stuff. I thought they looked good, but like most games so far...only a handful told us much. Oregon State next week will be pivotal.

It is a very important game for Boise State.

Just goes to show that Wyoming isn't James Madison.

The better Colonial conference teams can sometimes be pretty tough against BCS teams...Massachusetts this weekend gave Michigan a tough time, James Mad beat VT.

Oregon State did beat Louisville by a TD. Louisville looks pretty dismal lately although they were only a TD behind Kentucky and Oregon State.

Coming off a 4-8 season last year, I was hoping that Louisville might make it into the bowl eligible standings this year. It may be tough for them with this start.

I have to note that Texas beat Wyoming 34-7, at Home, and there were no star players benched by Texas for over-flash. (And Petis is a lot of O power to send to the bench.)

I'd say Boise State doubled the Longhorns performance and production! Could it be, "the eyes of the potatoes are upon them!?

LOL -- Thats a good one!

And Alabama pooh poohs the idea there could ever be a future match-up cuz the upstart broncos don't belong anyway...LOL
