Ok -v- Cincy

Postby WoVeU » Sat Sep 25, 2010 7:50 pm

Cincy is hanging tough. They have made some stupid mistakes and the Okie receivers have laid some balls on the ground.

But the Bearcats still seem to be a bunch of punks often times. Given their new coach, I'd wager this team will garnish the kind of national attention you don't want in the near future. Should challenge for the Fulmer Cup!

So does this make Cincy look good or Oklahoma look bad?

I am trying to figure that out now???? Another 1/2 quarter should give some illumination. But I think Oklahoma may have come in to gather their big win and go home.

Oklahoma realized Cincy has speed...but they lack size and power. Why does it take teams (like WVU last year) to figure that out...run the dang ball!

They also lack in their identity and they make poor decisions. The best the Bearcats can do is finish in the middle of the Big Easy a down year.

They gave Oklahoma a gimme. Cincy muffed a punt and when the returner fell on it, an Okie put his hands in there...in the end they gave Ok the ball on the 4 yard line! Game Over.

Doesn't look like Oklahoma is quite the juggernaut that we may have thought.

I think the Big 12 is down this year too! Texas has looked bad all year!

Not taking anything away from Cincinnati. They have a decent team, but they don't have the size that should let them hang with Oklahoma at the end of the game.

It means Oklahoma is overrated IMO. They'll drop a spot or two because of this.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I doubt they will drop, but they didn't play like I would expect.

There might not be many "jugernauts" in college football. Parity may be here.

I don't see a team that is head and shoulders better than the rest.

I haven't either, though, I haven't seen Oregon yet.
