Red, blue, yellow, etc fields should be banned. Boise should have to rip up that blue turf. It will proliferate. One horrendously ugly field was a gimmick...now others will chime in.

Like Eastern Washington's bright red turf.

What? Army to come out with camouflage uni's and a cammy field to match?

LSU with purple and yellow tiger stripes?

Penn State with a clorox bottle white field?

No, I tell ya. It has to be stopped.

I am with you Billybud. It has to stop and the blue and red turfs should be made to be green. I can't watch a Boise game all the way through....I can't imagine playing on it. It is way too shiny as well. And with as bad as the blue turf is that red field they showed on tv from Eastern Washington is terrible. Grass, even fake grass, should always be green. Always.

The Swamp Motif probably wouldn't go all that well in the Doak.

FSU can go gold, Michigan can go dark blue, Ohio State can go scarlet, Texas could go burnt orange.....On second thought, let's just let Eastern Washington and Boise State have their fun

I do think black fields would be sweet.

I like the symbolism of a red field.

You know, back in the day of wooden ships and iron men, the Brits painted their gun decks red. So that it wasn't demoralizing to see all of the blood and bloody body parts in the carnage of a battle of broadsides.

Since the Noles have knocked three QB's out of the game in the last five games (includes Gator Bowl), I can appreciate the symbolism.

I Kyle still prefer Ohio State have a green field. Although I guess since it is really just rubber that it really doesn't matter the color of the field.

Blame it on easter.

It all started going to hell 30 years ago with colored grass for easter baskets. Instead of vivid green, you could get the shiny stuff in a multitude of colors. Barney Fife knew that from such nonsense we would end up with Boise's blue football turf. Gotta nip it, I say.

That's right. Barney now has a use for the one bullet in his pocket....shoot the guy that was responsible. I have been in the Midwest in the summer.....they think grass is brown. (Real grass with the mud and snow and muck and mire...now that's what I'm talking about.)

My grass is brown as we speak. Despite my watering and feeding efforts. :x

I was back home in Indiana (play on words-state song) last August and all the midwest fried (I count Ohio as midwest). I sympathize with your brown grass. I am goofy, I am starting to like the idea of colored artificial rugs. Alternating every 5 yards with one's school colors! I like the thought!!!!!!!!!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

I agree with billybud...

Perhaps
The
NCAA
Should
Step
In??

8)

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

That's the last thing they should do. The NCAA is so good at messing everything up, next thing you know they will mandate blue turf for every program instead of green

LOL...Kentucky would be very upset if Boise had to rip out its Bluegrass.... :P
