I ain't buying the Bama undefeated season yet. Encores aren't easy.

IF WVU loses 3 games in this Big East I will be on Prozac. But I'd half to agree that this appears to be about the probable limit.

The Big East is there for WVU. No way to lose three in the conference. The ACC isn't strong and they have looked good against the Big East.

Pitt was throttled 31-3 by Miami and Pitt doesn't look good so far. Cincy was handled by NC State, Rutgers beat by NC and add UConn getting beat by Temple and it paints a picture. Louisville is still rebuilding and Syracuse is still Syracuse.

I think it comes down to USF and WVU...but neither will have three conference losses.

1) Which two teams win the divisions in the ACC?
2) Which team allows Boise State to score the fewest points?
3) Does any team defeat Alabama this season? If so, who?
4) Does Michigan finish the season in the top 4 of the Big Ten?
5) Does Notre Dame beat Southern Cal?
6) Does Texas lose to Oklahoma and Nebraska?
7) Does West Virginia finish the season with 3 or fewer losses?

MINE:
1) Miami & NC State
2) Fresno State
3) No
4) No. Wanna say yes, but QB will get injured.
5) No
6) Yes
7) Yes

Someone else will hold Boise to fewer points. It will be surprise and Boise will still win. Michigan will finish about 4th. Agree also with other poster on Alabama. Hard to go undefeated 2 years in a row. May get beat this weekend.
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

1) The Atlantic is so hard to pick from. NC State gets FSU at home and Clemson away, FSU gets NC State away and Clemson at home, and Clemson gets NC State at home and FSU on the road. I guess I'll go with NC State as Clemson also faces Miami and Georgia Tech from the Coastal. Miami wins the Coastal in a walk, but Virginia Tech will make a run at it.
2) Virginia Tech at 33? If we're talking about going forward, I would say Idaho because they get Boise on the road and have played well in pass defense. Fresno would be my next best guess, but Boise will probably approach 50 against the Bulldogs.
3) Ohio State. :D
4) I think they may tie for fourth. Michigan State, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Penn State, Iowa, and Ohio State are either comparable or better on paper right now. If I'm forced to choose, I say Michigan will finish 3-5 in conference play, so that may be good for around 6th place.
5) No. Maybe if it were in South Bend.
6) Yes.
7) I think 3 sounds about right. Maybe even 10-2 considering how the Big East isn't looking like it will throw many challengers at West Virginia.

4) Yes, they have a good back up.
5) No
6) Yes
7) Yes

Im like 0 for the season on predictions so I wouldn't bet the dog house and I don't have a dog.

BB, ahhh BB...from a sunny spot down south this would all seem very true. But where your non-fanhood allows you to retain objectivity, it has allowed you to forget the Eers' RR clause...throw one game away and let's let at least 2 teams hang around in the game for no dang reason! (This came with the 14 hour "voluntary" work out schedule! I believe Rich refered to as, "taking the boys out for Chinese.")

USF has looked disappointing to me...new identity, so we will see I guess. Cincy is excitable, they could perhaps hang around...from there, who knows. Rutgers, I really liked the UNC game, it looked like a pick 'em throughout...surprised me. (UNC, I think was still down 2 or 3 players, but I think they could be a top 15 team. Not that they will get there, the voters will punish them for early losses.)

Yeah I know about the annual WTF loss.

The Pitt 13-9 game still haunts me. I am a WVU fan and you'll find Billy more often on Blue Gold than here (5100+ posts). Long story short...in 1982 we partied at the Gator Bowl with some WVU fans...exchanged cards with the expected "if you guys come through, give us a call". A couple actually did call us and stayed with us and we have been friends and vacationed together occasionally for 28 years (except for Gator Bowls..LOL).
