That was an entertaining game. Looked like A&M would run away with it, then it looked like OK State had the game easily won, then A&M came back to tie. Then the former Ark Razorback kicker went in and got the win for Ok State (he left Ark when he failed to get a scholarship....Ok State offered him one...this was back under coach Nutt).

I was watching to see how A&M looked....that is Ark's next opponent. Hogs beat them by 21 points last year. A&M QB throws an ugly ball.....lots of ducks floating on him when he tries to throw it over 15 yards. I am looking for the Hogs defense to pick off more than a few of those next Sat.

You know..I kept flipping over to watch Hampton and Delaware State...

It's funny how, without context, you can't put anything into perspective. This game was as entertaining as the OK State/Aggie game. Although neither team would beat any decent IA team, they looked good against each other. I enjoyed the contrast in styles. Hampton ran the ball while Delaware passed.

When I flipped back to the Aggie game, the tables had turned...

Ok St. was 24th on my personal poll, and A&M was 27th. I thought about making them Top 25 but took Mich St. instead. I figured if they beat Ok St. they'd be in next week, and Mich St. has Wisc so they'll either justify their place or disappear.

I haven't seen A&M play and I missed it last night. I got both teams in mind as possible spoilers, not of Arkansas though.

I have had Oklahoma State in my poll since after Week 2. Had them #18 last week. I had been looking at A&M for the last couple of weeks, but they would just miss the cut - I was figuring pretty much the same as you did. Either they will replace Ok St. or Ok St. would make my poll look almost intelligent.

Meanwhile I have Mich. St and Wisconsin both in there, Wisky kind of high up, from getting shuffled as teams above them lost.... Somebody could come out of this week looking pretty good. Of course both will have a decent test coming up later this month in Michigan (for the Spartans) and Ohio St. (for the Badgers).
