Oh I think Harbaugh tries. Execution is another matter

But that is kind of harsh with their defense because they've played alright so far this season. Oregon's offense is a machine though. Not many teams would keep them in check over the course of a game.

It is an entertaining brand of football, unless you are a purist that like defensive struggles. My second favorite team the Iowa Hawkeyes are a pretty good team, but not real exciting to watch.

I must be a purist. I like watching Alabama this year. They aren't a juggernaut. They are completely solid on both sides of the ball. They have two backs that wear you out playing good ole fashioned smash mouth football. The game starts like everyone has a chance and then the backs start to wear the defense out. Make a mistake and things just get worse and the minutes just keep evaporating off the clock.

I also enjoy watching Bama, as they are just very good. Ingram and Richardson may be the best two running backs on a single team. They both seem to be so powerful and both break tackles. This comment from a Razorback fan, that recently had McFadden and Jones. You kind of wonder what would happen with both of these backs in the game at the same time.

Razorhawk, don't forget about Peyton Hillis was in the backfield with McFadden and Jones. Hillis is tearing it up in the NFL this year with the Browns (has scored a TD in every game, and has a couple of 100 plus yard games....Hills and McFadden are both in the top 10 in total yards in the NFL thus year). And Michael Smith was on that team as well...a 1,000 yard back the year after the big 3 left for the NFL.

McFadden, Jones, Hillis, and Smith may be the best collection of backs on one team at the same time ever.
