Re: Clock Management?
Miles just didn't want to leave any time on the clock for Tennessee to come back.

Re: Clock Management?
He may be the dumbest coach in college football. He had his team so confused it was comical. Guys running in circles trying to figure out if they should be on the field or not....it completely confused Tenn (maybe that was Miles tactic). You would think that LSU could get a play in and run it with :24 seconds left on the clock.
I for one hope he finds a way to stay the coach at LSU for a long time.

"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).

This incident is proof that these guys over-coach. They're more worried about personnel and a specific play than winning the game. It's a yard. Snap the freaking ball and let the QB or lead RB plow in. It's not rocket science.

Especially on the one. They have their jumbo package in, you play it.

Yeah, I don't get all of the special training required! Let's see, QB, HB, FB dive. And FB leading the RB. Then you have Boot Legs (escorted or naked) also either of these with the option to throw. And you have the fade, back line cross, and the TE running the corner. This is about 92% of TD's inside the 3!
(This is in league with running a lineman off the field for one play to give him some rest! Seriously?!?!?! Yeah, let him run his 300lbs about 85 yards, rather than clogging up a whole while wrestling another wide-body for 3 seconds!)

If he were to stay at LSU, you would have to fight the irresistible urge to thank him.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Won't even fight. I'll put on a skirt and I will make one of those hand crafted cards and send to him. Maybe submit one of those NASCAR paint schemes for Kyle or Dennie like the "puppies, kittens, and little baby seals" or the "who doesn't love, love" paint scheme!
I mean, "Who doesn't love Les?" "Les is more!"
