Picks FYI

Postby Eric » Thu Oct 07, 2010 4:54 pm

Just a heads up, starting Week 8, we'll be starting the 2nd half game for any who have missed out, so the scoreboard will be "reset" for the second half of the year. The reason for doing this is so people who are off pace can still have something to play for in November and for those who have missed a week (which is at one of our lowest totals in recent memory! 8) ). But, don't worry, we'll re-add the scores up at the end of the year to see who did the best over the course of the entire year.

Unless you guys propose something different, I'll be all ears :D

Sounds OK to me. I'm kind of disappointed that I am only leading by 1 game.

Oh and one thing I was going to say is that I totally skimmed over the Baylor/Texas Tech game this week. I think it's being played on a neutral field in Dallas, but really, that game probably would have had one of the smallest pick differentials had I seen it.

The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

Bah! You are lucky to be leading by 1 game. Hear my footsteps RazorHawk...I'm coming for you! As long as I don't make any more goofy picks...like taking Texas over Oklahoma...gah, what was I thinking.

I am not leading anything cuz I started late so sounds like an opportunity even though I get them all wrong anyway...
Win or Lose - IT'S HOW YOU HYPE THE OUTCOME! BCS logic: When teams in the AQ conferences lose, it shows how tough those conferences are; when teams in non-AQ conferences lose, it is weakness.

Don't feel too bad. I have not missed a week and you are more than likely ahead of me. My picks have been terrible. Good thing I don't have a gambling problem or I would be broke too.
