A bogus pass interference call set up that Aggie TD. Winston did not have his hands on the WR, WR grabbed Winston and threw him to the ground, and they flag Winston.

Score Ark 21-Aggies 14

hogs need to come out in 2nd, no penalties, and whip this undermaned team by 28 points.

Just wow is all I can say. Mallett had a wide open WR for an 80 yard TD and missed him. Hogs dominating statistically but only up by 4 points and Aggies have the ball.

Aggies just turned it over for the 3rd time. Hogs need to take advantage of the short field.

Petrino is about to pull all his hair out. Hogs putting up tons of yards and no points...A&M can not move the ball. Hogs only up by 7 though. Aggies look completely outmatched but Hogs keep shooting themselves in the foot. You can't let inferior teams hang around...it will catch up too you.

Last 11 min are going to be interesting. Sun right in Hogs eyes on defense and Mallets eyes on offense. Coming right through the glass at eye level...different then sun up above you.

Aggies putting together their first real drive of the game. See you can't let these guys hang around.

All that glass on the end if Jerry dome is poor design if you ask me. As the sun is setting it comes right in eye level and the glass makes it more intense. It is affecting both teams. It is just blinding light.

Wow...personal foul call on Mallett stopped big Higs drive. A&M has ball with 5 min left and Ark leads by 7. I think A&M has about 60 yards of offense in 2nd half but like I have said if you let them hang around they will put a drive together.

I just don't see the game being that close, but there has been a lot of money wagered on the Aggies for the line to have moved over 3 points.

That is the kind of swing gamblers can make money on! 3 to 3/12 swing IF you were able to catch it! Tells me Arkansas will win by 6 or 7.

The straddle is lookin better all the time. Sweep both sides for the real gambler! 3:06 left.

Well another questionable pass int call. The only offense for A&M in 2nd half was pass int's called on Ark. Man Jerrod Johnson is just plain terrible. I have never seen an uglier ball come out Ida D1 QB.

Ark shot themselves in the foot all game but came away with the win. Something like 13 penalties for well over 100 yards.

Final score was 24-17.

Mallett had 310 yards, 71% completion, 3 TD's, and 1 int. Hogs added well over 156 rushing yards (with the sacks it would be 132 yards).

Jerod Johnson had 212 yards, 37% completion, 1TD, and 1 int. Aggies rushed for 112 yards.

Ark had the ball 8 min longer than A&M. A&M turned the ball over 4 times to Ark 2 times. Hogs missed a field goal and messed up a fake fieldgoal (should have taken the short fg and points). A&M won the penalty battle...Hogs 13 penalties for 108 yards.

Ark travels to Auburn next week.

That was a very ugly win. Neither team looked very good and made so many mistakes.

Very strange game. Mallett completed 70% of his passes for 310 yards, 3TD's and 1 int...and Ark's running backs rushed for over 150 yards. Penalties killed several Ark drives, then you had that fake field goal that cost Ark points, and then Ark missed a fieldgoal. Hogs have to fix the penalties before next week. So many false starts are unexceptable. And it seems like Ark has a couple of personal fouls each game. This game should not have been close. I was proud of the Ark defense. They are playing well this seaso...in key situations when games are on the line.

The defense did play well, except for the secondary. They got beat deep a couple of times, and I was surprised that A&M didn't throw deep on almost every down. Looking at the stats you would conclude that Mallett had a pretty good game, but actually watching the game he certainly did not. He made a number of bad throws, missing receivers that were wide open.

I think if Heisman voters actually watched this game, he would be out of the Heisman race. Fortunately, most of the country was not able to view this game and will only see his stats.
