Julio Jones broken hand

Postby Dossenator » Tue Oct 12, 2010 12:18 pm

Julio Jones broke his hand against South Carolina and is havng surgery. The ESPNU is scrolling he may only miss a few days. How can a receiver brake a bone in their hand, have surgery, and be ready to play in a few days. I would think he will be out a few weeks at least.
"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).

I agree with you on that one.
Win or Lose - IT'S HOW YOU HYPE THE OUTCOME! BCS logic: When teams in the AQ conferences lose, it shows how tough those conferences are; when teams in non-AQ conferences lose, it is weakness.

Huh, perhaps a carpal or metacarpal bone? Maybe applying a wire or screw and plate??? Returning function and preventing more damage I might think possible...but pain would still be there with use over the first weeks I'd think. Speculating...obviously.
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Even so I would think there would be stitches and some swelling. I am sure his grip strength will be limited for awhile. And then the pain from catching the football. Not sure how you could play for a few weeks at least.
