The indirect analysis isn't as illuminating in this comparison, they are both in the SEC and the one loss against none tells you it is going to stack up like that.

That analysis takes better shape by week 8 or 9, mostly when you happen to get a late OOC game. I'll be looking for some from you when the bowls roll around, much more telling for that than anything! (Have you ever went back and applied it to see how it predicted?)

But I see Ark has won the last 2...I think #3 could be in order!

Choosea you got a couple things wrong....Ark has won the last two games in Auburn (not just the last visit to the plains)....and have won the last two head to head matchups (Ark beat Auburn in Fayetteville last year and Ark beat Auburn in Auburn the year before). Also, Tubberville was not the coach at Auburn last year.

As Don Nehlen, rather famously or infamously, said some years ago, "We beat the team that beat the team!" :D

I always think of that when I see this analysis.

No problem. Thanks for all the analysis...it is interesting to review. I hope you are finding enough time to eat and sleep.

I am ready for the game. My three TVs will get a workout at 3:30PM with the Hogs/Auburn on the big screen, Iowa/Michigan and Texas/Nebraska on the other sets. Ready to go. Sure wish these were not all kicking off at the same time.

Eating is essential, it helps me to stay up and post, then stay up even longer to watch all of these games... who has time to sleep, anyway :?:

Total bull.... That was not a TD. The video evidence was clear. The ball came out befor the goal line, it dropped straight down on the 1 yard line, Ark recovered.

The ref hose job is in just like the Florida game last year. Just makes you sick when the replay guys can't get it right.

Not one offial ruled it a TD. The ref on the ball called fumble. Bogus.

Now Mallett is outwith an injury from a horse collar tackle that was not called (and he jerked Malletts left arm back like he was trying t harm him). These refs are terrible.

Well Refs give Auburn TD, Auburn plays dirty and knocks Mallett out, this game will not be close now. Makes me sick when the refs take over games with no calls and bogus calls.

This is bogus!

First of all the ref with the best view, threw the bean bag, indicating a fumble and I did not see a ref call it a touchdown. After watching the replay it was clear that the ball never crossed the goal line. Same crap as last year against Florida. I hate to be a someone that blames the officials for losses, but wow, that was a terrible call.

Now Mallett is out for the game.
