Having lived in Baton Rouge just a few miles from the stadium I am a great fan of theirs. BUT, I don't think they are all that strong this year. We will have to wait and see.

and, p.s. I believe Hawaii will knock off Nevada. Just a feeling.

Well for the sake of my fantasy football team, I need Alex Green, Vai Taua, and Kealoah Pilares to go ballistic

I really don't know what to expect from this game. Hawaii always tends to be underrated, in my opinion. 5-1 ATS this season, and perfect ATS at home. This game depends entirely on whether Nevada brings a defense to Honolulu. Vegas expects a shootout: O/U is 75.5. Even by no-defense Hawaii standard, that's high.

Hawaii is on it's way to knocking off Nevada...I think your right.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

First half, Hawaii has picked up two turnovers, and dealt Nevada 4 three and outs, and carry a shutout into the locker room. Hawaii warriors know what the word "defense" means after all.

Up on the spread by 23.5 points... I love Hawaii football.

So the spread was 6.5? I think I would have taken that. I know hindsight is 20/20, but I did pick Hawaii to win  I'm shocked their defense is playing as well as it has been. I thought this game would be 30-30ish at the half.

Yeah, I was at least figuring on something like 21-14 Hawaii at the half. Enough maybe to flirt with the weirdly high O/U. For Hawaii football this game is oddly normal. :P

Wow. Six minute drive ends with a fumble on the 1 yard line and into the end zone... Nevada is just having no luck.

I could easily adopt Hawaii as my third team. Great atmosphere with all the night games and beautiful surroundings. I have been to a couple of games in Aloha Stadium to see Arkansas and Iowa play Hawaii. They were really fun when June Jones was there. I also knew Stan Sheriff, as he was from Iowa.

Great win over Nevada.

Fox did you study the "BLACK ARTS" when you were in that part of the country? Great prediction! My WARRIORS defeated previously overrated,(SORRY), I mean undefeated Nevada 27 to 21!

There went Boise States ace in the hole! With the undulation in the polls, that looks certain, if Nevada had gotten through Hawaii they could have risen to the Top 12. That would have set up nice for Boise State.

And with Washington beating Oregon St., they lost one of their wild cards.

I doubt Boise will get #1 in the BCS when it comes out...if Auburn moves above them in the voter polls, I think they will get the #1 ranking. (Oregon might be ahead of them too.) I don't think Va. Tech will carry enough weight for them.

Yeah Oregon St. getting upset hurts. They were a respected two loss #24 on the AP poll before last week. Their two losses were Boise St. and TCU....

Lol, it would alarm you to know that I also felt Oregon State would fall....(I hoped otherwide),

But, the most overrated team of all is Oregon. They lost to BSU last year and their M.O. has not changed any. When they play Oregon State I think they will lose.

I might be wrong that I think Donovan also considers Hawaii formidable this year and a real threat to BSU. And never ever rule out Fresno State.

Regarding black arts and my stay in that part of the country (Baton Rouge) twin tornados hit my neighborhood and blew right over my house taking out other homes and tress and power poles and cars. But my house never had a scratch. So I guess I was just living right...

Boise at least has the benefit of being able to host both on the Smurf Turf this season. Still, Hawaii should be a good game in a couple of weeks. I don't know that I would play it though. Have to see what sort of a line Vegas gives...
