This is the kind of thing you never want to hear about.

Terrible news. Players know it's a possibility playing football but you never like to see something like this happen too anyone.
"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).

Its always tragic when a player gets this type of injury.
Win or Lose - IT'S HOW YOU HYPE THE OUTCOME! BCS logic: When teams in the AQ conferences lose, it shows how tough those conferences are; when teams in non-AQ conferences lose, it is weakness.

I friend of mine got clipped on a play in a high school game we were playing in and he didn't get up. When I went over to him, we said he couldn't feel his legs. Feeling came back on the way to the hospital, but we didn't know it until hours later. It is something that is hard to handle. You really don't even think about that stuff when your a kid, until is hits.

Pretty ugly. But, for the grace of God it could be one of us-car wreck, a fall-who knows.
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

That's right. It can happen to anyone at any time.

My prayers go out to Eric, his family, and to his Rutgers team mates.
