Everyone is entitled to their own opinion otherwise we wouldn't have anything to discuss. People have made some very valid points on both sides of the discussion and I respect their point of view and their opinions.

If anything I am being closed minded when it comes to Boise. I have laid down a blanket ultimatum to put them in the NC and have been bull headed in sticking to that ultimatum. I do not know if past years merits should count towards this year or whether they should only be judged on what they have done this season. I can understand both sides of that argument, and if I throw out previous accomplishments Ohio St., Alabama, and Oregon would be my top 3. Boise would be ranked somewhere between 7-10 and only because they beat Oregon St. this past weekend.

Anyway to each their own. It is your god given right to believe how you want to believe and I'll respect and understand your beliefs even when they are counter to my own.

Now, I'm taking a vow of silence on the subject, no more Boise St. rants outside of this thread. I will let the season play out and only come November should the subject need discussion will I approach the subject again.

I could not have said it any better. I think we totally agree.

What are we gonna argue about? The BT re-alignment? I am tired of it also. FWIW Florida 31-27, now I have jinxed them, also.
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

I have a topic: should CFB teams go back to the single wing?

Even when called the wildcat, it is fading.I did hear a guy on the radio declare the wildcat a new innovation. Just goes to show everything moves in a circle .

By Florida?? Nope.

Georgia State will ruin Alabama's NC season.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

We could talk about 7-0 Delaware.

Why not. Makes as much sense. The home of Davey Nelson, the originator of the Split T formation, I believe.

Hey teams have went back to the single wing. I think the wing T is a lot better formation.

Indeed...I am pretty sure that is why Boise avoided them.

And...because Eric BUMPED IT...

To quote an AP voter...

“Boise State figured out exactly how to exploit that system. Beat one or two respectable non-conference opponents, crush inferior conference competition and let everyone else slug it out until they fall. Boise State’s only good out-of-conference opponents (Virginia Tech and Oregon State) would be the football equivalents of a No. 3 and a No. 4 seed, respectively. Most of Boise State’s WAC colleagues would get smoked by power-conference doormats, and the Broncos don’t face the uncertainty of a conference tournament.”

But...America loves David against Goliath. Had just a couple more of the WAC teams appeared on Alabama’s schedule (besides San Jose State), the Tide would be crucified by the media despite the gauntlet of a conference schedule they would still be playing. Now Boise State has 2 quality opponents in 12 games this season and suddenly people are looking the other way?

Rant now off....thanks Eric...I needed that. Whew! A lot to carry around.
