The Experts

Postby WoVeU » Tue Oct 19, 2010 8:17 pm

I am way too busy now-a-days and this is the first time I have watched this program. I like it!

Spielman is like getting Madden and Steve Young in one for commentary and football knowledge. I am surprised he doesn't coach.

Chris lost his wife to breast cancer last year. She battled for a very long time. He tried to coach arena football , but didn't e en have time for that. He has three kids he takes care of and the oldest is I sixteen year old girl so he has all he can do with the TV and radio gig. His dad, though, was a great high school coach at a legendary high school in Massilon Ohio.

The best I can tell...the Spielman family is truly "All-American!"

He is a good guy. He is what you see. Kind of a corny guy, a great family man, and a guy that would talk to you or the president of the United States the same way. I have never heard one thing bad about him - ever. He is a very grounded person. He quit football to help his wife fight her battle and never looked back.

Haven' t seen it yet. Looks like I will have to put on my agenda!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

I have seen it several times...overall a good show (a litle long at 3 hours). I do find myself disliking one of the Georgia guys more and more each week...his name is Pollack (I believe). The other ex-Georgia player is my favorite on the show (I don't remember his name). I also enjoy listening to Belotti (former Oregon coach).

You don't like David Pollack??????

How old is the other ex-Georgia player?? Is it Buck Belue?
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

He is an ultimate jerk (or at least he comes across that way). Comes across aa a cocky know-it-all. And if it's not Georgia then it's not good. There have been several times on The Experts where he will chime in and you can tell the other's on the panel just want him to shut his mouth. I know several people that feel the same way about him. In fact, I am not sure I have spoke to anyone about The Experts show that did not say the exact same thing I am. Nothing against Georgia but this guy is not representing your school in a positive way.

The other Georgia guy used to be an offenseive lineman I believe. I would say he is in his 30's. Seems like a super nice guy. He is also co-host of SEC Weekly. Here is a picture of the guy.

Oh, that's Stichcomb. Yeah, he was a good one.

Pollack was probably the best defense player Ga has ever had....at least that I can remember. Other coaches hated him, especially Phil Fulmer.

Thanks Derek...I could not think of his name.

Ya...I remember Pollack. He was a good one. He does not come across as a nice guy though....maybe he is.
