THE BCS Results

Postby silverfox » Sun Oct 17, 2010 10:39 pm

I am sure glad Boise State did not come out as number #1 on this standing result.

Plus, I think it's kind of cool that Oklahoma and Oregon are #1 and #2.

The last time Boise State played either of these two teams they beat them.
Win or Lose - IT'S HOW YOU HYPE THE OUTCOME! BCS logic: When teams in the AQ conferences lose, it shows how tough those conferences are; when teams in non-AQ conferences lose, it is weakness.

no way Ohio State gets to the championship game after getting embarrassed by Wisky.

Correct. Iowa would have a better chance, if they run the table, and I don't think they have a prayer of being in the Championship game, even if they are 11-1 and Big 10 champ. The only way a Big 10 team gets in this year is to be unbeaten.

What the crap happened the last five minute of that game today. Seems like everyone in the world, but the Hawks, new Bielema was going to fake punt. Then that last that offensive series after the TD was a lesson on how to lose a game. I couldn't believe that happened.

People can talk about the officiating...it is at a low. But so is coaching. I think they spend so much time on fancier forms of football, film, breakdowns, and everything else and things like play calling (and being in the moment) and clock management are suffering.

And punting, my lands, you have a big disparity out there! There are a few really good punters, but I have never seen so many 30 yard punts...it is horrendous! If I was 3 or 4 years younger and my back about 10% better I'd try to walk on at UTSA next year. (It ain't that hard ladies and gentlemen.)

I agree.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
