Seriously? Seriously? Already!

I just jumped to the end to ask this crucial question. But happened to see Neb -v- WVU in the Fiesta. If that somehow happened, and WVU let's there offense really play and this match-up is the bowl game....12-9, I don't know who wins. But each defense is almost exactly built to stop the other! (Now I hate games like this and would have no finger nails left and nobody could be in the room with me. I hate games like this because WVU and Nebraska at any time has players who can go the whole field in 8 seconds. And both have risk takers in the defensive back field.)

It is almost November. I think that means I'm totally within my rights to issue bowl projections

I'm just invoking my right to say...seriously?

[quote="Eric"]From yours truly, which means I made these up off the top of my head with little to no insight into the bowl process :D

Eric for having "little to no insight" into the bowl process I think you hve done an excellent job at predicting many of the bowls. I don't know about the championship bowl, however, cuz the powers that be have yet to speak and I think they might be a bit concerned about what happens if BSU were to win. Of course the debates will intensify even more in that scenario and. while quieting the "non-AQ" elements the "old guard" will be even more up in arms for the same arguments we continue to hear more and more.

I still say this year is showing a lot of parity between several teams - both AQ and Non-AQ - and anything can happen. :?
Win or Lose - IT'S HOW YOU HYPE THE OUTCOME! BCS logic: When teams in the AQ conferences lose, it shows how tough those conferences are; when teams in non-AQ conferences lose, it is weakness.

"old guard"?

The computers will weigh in more strongly on a couple of teams SOS from here on out. The only thing that could push Boise into the spot would be a conspiracy to have "new blood" play for it. The media love for a story over football merit.

That's it. A conspiracy. What at great idea. Boise can play in the Roswell Bowl. They can play the number one team from Mars. (They have a very weak schedule on Mars.)

There it is;

I like it... Boise State vs The Men in Black

Hey, does that mean the FBI will officiate the game .?. and a group of Sasquatch will run the first down chain markers?

But, wait... we can't let Boise have that kind of home field advantage... so; let's build a Super Carrier, then play the game over the Bermuda Triangle... I'd buy a ticket to see that one... as long as I don't have to be micro-chip tagged for "Security Clearance" purposes.

Yep, but there is no way that Georgia goes to the Gator. No way.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

How not? The SEC East is a total logjam this year. Once you get beyond two BCS teams, Arkansas, and LSU, it's a crapshoot. Any school with 3 or even 4 conference losses could land a new year's day game.

I'm not saying they won't go to a bowl...I'm just saying it won't be the Gator...that has been an ACC/Big East bowl for some time. I don't see the SEC getting an invite to that...unless the new rules change everything. But I don't think the rules are that far reaching....Are they?
