I hate the kid is hurt but if you don't want to get tackled then step out of bounds instead of trying to get that extra yard or two.

Arkansas lost yet another player for the rest of the season tonight. DB Ramon Broadway broke his foot in the SC game...he was a captain on defense.

Ark has had bad luck with injuries this year:
1. starting RB Dennis Johnson was lost for the year when he fell on the ball and ruptured his bowels.
2. WR Greg Childs had season ending surgery on his knee a couple days ago.
3. DB Ramon Broadway broke his foot and out for the season.0
4. Mallett missed most of the Auburn game with a concussion and missed half of the Ole Miss game with a bruised shoulder.
5. WR Joe Adams missed a couple of games with a sore ankle and was limited in the SC game.
6. There have been injuries on both lines with several players missing games.

These big SEC games are so physical. Today, LSU lost 3 starters on defense in the first 8 or so minutes of the game vs Bama. These kids keep getting bigger, faster, and stronger.

When the contact was made his feet were still in bounds. Terrible call, but had no affect on the outcome of the game. Same with the Garcia fumble that was not called.

Hogs looked pretty sharp in this win.

I would say it was the Hogs first complete game of the season on both sides of the ball and special teams. The O-line is run blocking well and Knile Davis is getting the tough yards. Other than the second half against Bama and the entire game in Auburn the Ark defense has shown dramatic improvement from a year ago. I think UTEP, Miss State, and LSU are going to have their hands full trying to stop Ark's offense. They can't just sell out and try to stop the passing game.

The Miss State and LSU games are going to be good...especially LSU. I think Arkansas has something for them!

BTW, Auburn could lose their next 2 games!

I don't want Auburn to lose the next 2 though (actually it would not tear me up that much). If that happens we could end up with a 4 way tie for first place in the SEC West with (Auburn, Bama, LSU, and Ark) all 10-2. Ark would be left out of any conversation for a BCS bowl. The best case scenario for Ark is for Ark to win out and Auburn win out....that would just about guarantee Ark in the Sugar Bowl.

Arkansas has won 13 of their last 16 games (dating back to last season)....3 losses were overtime to LSU in Baton Rouge last year, Bama and Auburn this year (both games that Ark led in the 4th quarter).

The state of the program when Petrino arrived was more than atrocious. If you guys remember, Arkansas was embarrassed by Bama, Texas, Florida, etc, etc. Not even close wins. The second year showed improvement. Last year the hogs had a good season with a bowl victory. This year they sit at 7-2 (winners of 13 of their last 16). And I don't worry each week about whether Ark will get blown out (such a nice feeling over that first year).

Ark has another very good class coming in and Petrino is building depth. He has a plan and I believe that Ark will be a team to recon with in the SEC West as long as he is the coach. I think this year that if Ark was in just about any other conference (or even in the SEC East) they would be sitting atop said conference. The SEC West is just brutal this year (5 of the 6 teams ranked in the BCS top 20).

The future looks bright for Ark and I can't wait to see it unfold.
