Northwestern coach is my coach of the year

Dunno how he produces with a limited talent pool! He does have some players and they supposedly have to be smart at NU. I don't see too many dummies out there!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

Very hard to pull against Northwestern. Kind of like Vandy in the SEC, but more competitive. Iowa will probably wind up 8-4 and go to a mid tier bowl. Not what it looked like for a while, but could always be worse.

I know I am getting older, as the loss does not even make me mad.

Northwestern has now beaten Iowa I think 5 of last 6 years and I would imagine they were an underdog every year.

I agree GoBoilers. I can't believe they have won 5 of the last 6. They almost beat Auburn in their bowl game last year if I remember correctly.
"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).

HOW did Purdue beat NU at NU? WE did have a few more injuries after but most were earlier in the year!
