You done, Spence?

Here's to a good game. If, by some miracle, the stuffed Wolverine brings us defensive magic and we shut down Terrelle Pryor and/or Denard Robinson goes out of his mind and/or pigs begin to fly, I'll take the fact that we'll probably send Sparty to the Rose Bowl to get roughed up by TCU.

I was surprised that Denard Robinson is so small. He is very quick though, lots of juke in his hips. I just don't see Michigan getting competitive until they scrap the current base defense and start recruiting players. Ohio State played pass first, why I have no idea when they were playing one of the worst run defenses in the nation, but they still ran for more than 200. A Michigan fan did tell me he heard that Sarah Harbaugh had made an offer on a house in AA, don't know how true that is, but that is one guy I would rather not see there.

They last real game of the rivalry ended with Jim Tressel completely erasing John Coopers record against Michigan so we end up 13 games behind - even since the first thirteen games of the rivalry. It doesn't get much better than that over 107 years. Next year the rivalry resumes almost like a non conference game since we are in different divisions. It will still be a heated rivalry between the schools, but it won't have the impact that it once did. I guess the rivalry with the most impact from here out will be the Red River shootout. I have been a fan all my life, and aware since 1967. Lots of good and bad memories, I wouldn't trade any of them. I'm really sad to see it go. I guess Wisky is our new biggest rival, so we need to change our team a little to beat them.

Forgive me if I'm not nostalgic for the rivalry, I'll take Ohio State in another division at this stage in the game

I just really don't see that as being the case though. The weird event I'm sure everybody is waiting for will be the day (at least a few years down the road) when Michigan and Ohio State win their divisions and go on to play in the Big 10 championship in a stadium not named The Shoe or The Big House. I'm picturing the Buckeyes and Wolverines at Ford Field or The Metrodome

When Harbaugh is calling the shots you'll be happy.

It will be in Chicago. 100,000 plus stadiums at either school and we well play at Northwestern.

I was under the impression that the Big Ten title game was going to be held in Indianapolis ... Colts stadium.

Hell, why not?

The Hoosiers will never get there; may as well have at least one game in Indiana that means something.

That stadium only holds 63.000 people. Nine of the eleven B-10 stadiums are bigger or equal to that. Several are lots bigger.

The first one is being played in Indianapolis. Not sure where they go from there, but usually they just use NFL stadiums for neutral sites.

I guess that makes me a kool-aid drinker. I'm giving Rodriguez one more year, even if they lose the bowl game. And provided Greg Robinson gets fired.

I don't consider you a kool-aid drinker. I understand not wanting to start over again. I do think that has to happen, though. I think RR is a guy that can build a good team and then has to start over and build another team. I can't see Michigan letting that happen. They want to be good every year, and since they are the winningest program of all time, they usually are good every year.

I don't consider him a bad coach, just a long way from genius.
