QB 1: Rating 187, 3,269 passing yards, 30 passing TD's, -34 rushing yards, 0 rushing TD's, 5 Int's (Total yards: 3,235 - Total TD's: 30)
QB 2: Rating 166, 3,051 passing yards, 28 passing TD's, 438 rushing yards, 3 rushing TD's, 7 Int's (Total yards: 3,489 - Total TD's: 31)
QB 3: Rating 170, 3,592 passing yards, 30 passing TD's, -46 rushing yards, 4 rushing TD's, 11 Int's (Total yards: 3,546 - Total TD's: 34)
QB 4: Rating 185, 2,254 passing yards, 24 passing TD's, 1,336 rushing yards, 18 rushing TD's, 6 Int's (Total yards: 3,590 - Total TD's: 42)
3 of these guys are finalists for both the Maxwell and Davy Obrien awards....one QB was left out of both. The QB left out has the most passing yards, tied for most passing TD's, 2nd most total yards (only behind the leader by 44 yards), the 2nd most total TD's, the 2nd most rushing TD's, and the 3rd highest QB rating. How can that QB not be a finalist for at least the Davy Obrien (the nations best QB award).
The above QB's are listed from fewest total yards and fewest TD's to the most in each category. Notice as the total yards go up...so do the total TD's.
Also, one of these QB's still has yet to play their 12th game. And one of them will play a 13th game this weekend.
I also bolded the leading stat in each category...QB #2 leads no catergory (this QB is considered the best in college according to draft experts, Colin Cowherd, and pretty much all the ESPN talking heads...oh, and Donovan too).
So that probably gives the answers away.

Re: Name the college QB
I'm going to say without looking up the stats:
1. Moore
2. Luck
3. Mallett
4. Newton
1. Moore
2. Luck
3. Mallett
4. Newton

Maybe the 11 INT's should have been bolded as a leading stat...

After watching the Brown's this year, I don't think McFadden is the Hog that should have won it over Tebow!

I bolded who had the best stat in each category. He only threw 6 last year...that 3 against Bama is hurting his numbers this year.

Up until a week ago McFadden was leading all NFL running backs averaging 106 yards a game. Two bad performances have surely knocked him down a notch...when you have such inconsistent blocking and QB play like the Raiders I am surprised he gets any yards. You are right that Hillis is running well....he is a beast....best white man running back in the NFL.

You are correct. Newton, Moore, and Mallett should be the Davey Obrien finalists based on the numbers.

Still threw twice the INT's that Moore did...and INT's are a killer.

I agree. However, I am not saying leave Moore out of the Davy Obrien running. I am saying leave Luck out. Fewer passing yards, fewer total yards, fewer passing TD's, fewer total TD's, Int's and comp percentage in the same ball park (7 Int to 11 Int, and 63% to 70%). Luck leads in not statistical category. Moore, Newton, and Mallett have the top 3 QB ratings in college football (in that very order). That was my whole point to this little game. I am tired of turning on ESPN or listening to ESPN radio and all they talk about is how great Luck is. They never even mention Moore or Mallett when discussing the best QB's in college football anymore.
