Crazy flag at Washington high school game

Postby Dossenator » Wed Dec 01, 2010 10:33 pm

At a high school playoff game a kid scores a TD and like every TD he scored during the year he points to Heaven and then gives the ball to the ref. This time he gets a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. The reasoning he was calling attention to himself (actually no...thanking God), and then the officials governing body said it was to prevent a delay in the game (are you kidding me...the kid gave the ball right to the official). Just crazy. You watch and see what you think.

"A team with something to play for is dangerous, but a team with someone to play for is unstoppable..." Arkansas OL Brey Cook quote following the death of teammate Garrett Uekman (Nov. 2011).

Really funny call and a worse explanation.

The article, if you read it, goes on to discuss how the refs were told that their use of pink whistles to support breast cancer would result in a fine.

Tell this to Notre Dame!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

I can still smell their stench from my last trip to San Francisco...I might still have it on me. 8) What a God forsaken city that is.

But don't worry, your tax dollars will bail them out after Gov. Moonbeam finishes the state off with a fresh round of social spending.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Who says he was thanking God for scoring a touchdown? Maybe he was thanking God that his mother no longer has cancer or that his dad has found a job after being unemployed for 6 months. You have no idea what he was thanking God for. Maybe he was thanking God that he didn't live in Michigan.

The vagueness of the reason behind the flag reeks of the NCAA.
